Responding to an emergency

Investment $50 million

Last year, our state faced a horror flu season, one of the worst on record. To make sure hospitals have the support they need to fight the flu this winter, this Budget includes $50 million to open more beds, hire more doctors and nurses, and treat more patients.

What will the money be used for?

The Victorian Budget 2018/19 includes investments to:
