This year’s Budget invests in the industries and individuals who underpin our state’s success, with $82.7 million to support our galleries, museums and creative sector.
What will the money be used for?
The Victorian Budget 2018/19 includes investments to:
Redevelop ACMI
$36.6 million to redevelop ACMI.
Supporting our cultural institutions
$34.8 million to improve the sustainability of operations and maintain collections for public enjoyment at key cultural institutions, including Museum Victoria.
Host the Australian Performing Arts Market
$2.9 million to host the Australian Performing Arts Market in Victoria for 6 years.
