Get your skills at school

This budget invests in helping young people get the skills they need for good jobs sooner and transforming careers education in schools.

What will the money be used for?

The Victorian Budget 2018/19 includes investments to:

Improve vocational education

$49.8 million to improve vocational education so students can do an apprenticeship and finish school qualified and ready to work.

Secondary vocational pathways

$25.9 million to improve the quality of secondary vocational pathways, giving every young Victorian the choices they deserve.

Skills through TAFE
Better careers education
