The 2008-09 State Budget will be released on Tuesday, 6 May 2008.
Budget 2007-08
The 2007-08 Budget delivers the commitments made to the Victorian people by the Bracks Government at the 2006 state election. The budget continues to create the conditions for sustainable economic growth in a difficult global environment, with a focus on building a competitive economy and tackling Victoria's future challenges.
The budget also delivers a major new affordable housing package and commences the biggest school rebuilding program in Victoria's history.
