| Treasurer’s Message This year’s budget invests in our future - in more jobs and stronger communities. It delivers record levels of investment in education and innovation - driving new opportunities for all Victorians. And it focuses on growing Victoria together through improved transport links and services in our regions and rapidly expanding suburbs. In this budget, we continue to undo years of damage in education, health and community safety. And we invest in protecting and valuing our environment - especially our forests, land and rivers. For the past two years, Victoria has led the way in jobs, economic growth and business investment.
